Next, he begins the discussion on the importance of Advanced Adhesion for Partial Coverage Ceramics from a "mechanical perspective". First, Dr. Schiffenhaus explains how compressive forces work on the tooth & ceramics the impact bonding has on stablizing against negative tensile stresses as well as the natural engineering of the tooth. He follows this up by discussing how flexural strength tests work & data showing the large increases in strength by simply bonding glass ceramics.
